Disabled bathroom conversion in Aylesbury, Bucks

Here we completed a disabled bathroom conversion in Aylesbury for Mr Cox, who unexpectedly became a wheelchair user recently.

As any wheelchair user will tell you, having a truly wheelchair friendly house can make all the difference to your day to day life, and there are many elements to that. One of the most important is the bathroom, and here we made large alterations to make it completely accessible and usable for the customer.

Our team removed the old bathroom completely and installed a lovely level-access wet room, which we fully retiled and installed a new washhand basin with raised height toilet. As you can see from the pictures, there is now plenty of room for Mr Cox who can use the room at his convenience.

For this customer we also widened the doorway to the downstairs loo and fitted anti-slip flooring in there too, plus we made several other alterations around the house which you can see in a related case study.

Mr & Mrs Cox were delighted with all of our work and had this to say: "We would just like to thank the whole Evolution team for what they have done for us. They have made what could have been a very stressfull time into a very easy transition from old to new. The guys were all spot on in everything they did and always kept us upto speed with what was happening. They really have transformed our lives for the better and we can't thank them enough."
