Wet room installed in retirement home - Caversham, Berkshire

Our team recently carried out a wet room installation in Caversham (Reading) for a lady who had just moved into a retirement home.

Mrs Cousins wasn’t really getting on well with the shower/bathroom that she inherited in her new home, so after a quick search on Google she found our website and gave us a call.

After looking at our site she had the desired design and layout in mind, so we were halfway there when it came to planning and designing the wet room for her. Our team installed a large 1800x900 level deck and also a wireless waste pump to suck away the waste water as the drainage was above ground level.

We also changed the toilet and basin for more modern items and put a 50mm plinth under the loo to make getting on and off that much easier. We also replaced the old electric towel rail with a modern chrome unit and fully retiled the room with a nice modern blue mosaic border.

To put the finishing touches on we painted the ceiling and put in a nice storage cupboard with a mirror, and once done we finally installed Altro anti-slip flooring to the whole room. Mrs Cousins was thrilled with the results and has already passed on our details to one of her friends.

Project Type: Wet Room Installation
Completion Date: March 2015
Location: Reading, Berkshire
